Paper Abstract:      Peer-tutoring studies have been effectively conducted within classroom context for students’ mathematics. While teachers increasingly rely on integrated technology for instruction, it is worth noting how computer supported collaborative learning can facilitate children’s learning in domain knowledge. This study presented a synchronous peer-tutoring system, which provided children with various scaffolding tools for facilitating mathematics learning in the face-to-face context. The results of this study supported that the online peer-tutoring system, adopting various “game-like” schemas and mathematics objects, successfully facilitated students’ intrinsic motivation and mathematics learning.
